June 6, 2002 - Sun Newspaper Turn to Lee Builders, Inc., for customized home remodeling backed by very individualized service, expert craftsmanship, and president Lee Fenrich's goal of total customer satisfaction. Lee Builders provides whole-house remodeling services for basements, kitchens, baths, and more and specializes in deck, arbor, gazebo, and porch construction and home additions. The company also installs windows, doors, custom woodwork and does light commercial construction. It uses the newest products on the market to achieve a superior look and provides detailed information on the pros and cons of each product to ensure that customers make the right choices. All jobs are backed by a one-year warranty for labor, as well as manufacturer warranties for products and materials. "When Lee Builders begins a project, I personally meet with each customer to assess their remodeling needs and then find the best solution to complement their lifestyle," said Fenrich. "During the first meeting, I usually bring photos of our past projects to give them starting ideas. I often do rough drawings to give them a more realistic look of their own project. Once the drawing and pricing proposal are finalized, I meet with the customer a second time to go over all the details. I leave the proposal with the client so they have time to review it and make an informed, final decision. My goal is to make the process as painless as possible. Since they're dealing directly with the owner, rather than a salesman, we're able to develop a relationship which I've found has been key in achieving total customer satisfaction." Fenrich prides himself on the fact that he personally does much of the remodeling work for his company. He's backed by two expert craftsmen, as well as a team of some of the most experienced trade contractors in the business. He also has ties to a number of local banks for project financing. Fenrich is a carpenter by trade with 36 years of experience. He worked for various home builders for over 20 years and has been owner and president of Lee Builders for the past 16 years. Fenrich is a graduate of the Union Apprenticeship Program and regularly attends continuing education programs to keep abreast of the latest products and trends in remodeling. In 2003, he completed NARI courses and exams to become one of very the very few certified remodelers in the Greater Cleveland Area. "It's really important for a customer to choose a contractor who is abreast of the latest advances in the business, as well as industry and community regulations and requirements," said Fenrich. "It ensures that the job is done right the first time and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations." Fenrich became a carpenter because he likes the challenge of working with people and creating unique and functional remodeling looks for his customers. "At Lee Builders, we are committed to doing a nice job at reasonable rates for each and every customer," said Fenrich. "It's been the key to our success. Most of our business is repeat customers or referrals. We want everyone to have a pleasant experience so that they become one of our many repeat customers. We've even become friends with a number of our clients and get invited back socially, rather than called back for projects, repairs or problems." Lee Builders recently completed the spectacular new Schuster's Retail Center in Olmsted Falls. A few of Lee Builders' more noteworthy accomplishments include the construction of an 8,800 square foot home in Beachwood, a major addition and remodeling of the former Bit of Budapest restaurant in Parma (presently Lone Star), and the renovations and maintenance of the old Sud's Maguire's Saloon in Olmsted Township. It's currently working on redesigning an apartment building in Bedford that experienced a roof collapse. The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awarded Lee Builders third place in the 2002 Entire House Remodeling Contractor of the Year category for a remodeling project it completed in 2001. It also received various first, second and third place awards for its structural work and displays, in conjunction with Scott's Landscape, at the Home and Garden Show. The company is a member of the Better Business Bureau, NARI, and the Olmsted Falls Chamber of Commerce. Fenrich was a founding member of the Olmsted Community Business Association, which is now the Olmsted Falls Chamber of Commerce. Lee Builders, Inc. is located at 8893 Columbia Road in Olmsted Falls.
